About Developer:

Mr. Zahid Hussain is Computer Engineer & he also holds a degree of MBA from Sindh University.

Mr. Zahid Husain created Search Quran Software being inspired from Jamal Nasir’s software “DivineIslam” in 2007.

He received a lot of troubles in finding materials in Urdu on Quran. Therefore, he decided to create a software, in which information on Quran in Urdu can easily be searched.

He started his work from typing Quran in Roman Urdu and designing the search engine. He translated Quran in roman Urdu in 10 months and designing of the software in 2 years. He took the Urdu translation from “Muhammad Jona Garghi” and English translation from “Muhammad Pk Thal”.

Search Quran software has two search boxes named search for parah and search for surah. Clicking on them will display the corresponding contents of surah or parah. Four types of translation are given below with them i-e Arabic, English, Urdu and Roman Urdu. You can also choose one from them. There is also a “Find” option, where you can find the number of times a word or phrase resides in a surah or parah by typing it in the “Find” box in any of the 3 languages.
